One week of conference is starting today (July 17th, 2017) here in Leuven. [Here is the official website!]
Our group and the entire Quantum Chemistry Division is very glad to host all the participants and the invited speakers that come from different countries.
The conference is organised by Prof. Jeremy Harvey and Prof. Arnout Ceulemans, together with the 2nd annual meeting of the EJD-TCCM (Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling) in which a member of our group (Ewa) is involved for her PhD project.
ITN-EJD-TCCM (this is the complete name) is an European consortium that involves 12 universities around Europe and 14 non-academic partners together with the objective to prepare authentic research leaders in multidisciplinary computational techniques (methods and software), but with solid communication skills, thanks to the contacts established by this network. There were plenty of good talks, a friendly environment, inspirational discussions… In our opinion that was a success! We enjoyed a lot these days! 🙂
Thanks to all the people who helped to make the most out of the conference, the invited speakers, the ESRs, and all the participants in the audience.
