Between March 19th and 22nd Andrea and Ewa attended the Computational Molecular Science conference (CMS 2017) at the University of Warwick (Coventry, UK).It was an exciting experience full of very good talks, poster discussions and, of course, food & drinks.
The conference started on Sunday evening with a finger food and hamburger dinner in a pub very close to the campus, a good preparation for the next days.
Everything was very intense and well organised especially considering the wide range of topics: from TDDFT to tunneling, going through QM/MM, simulation of bacterias, spectroscopy and GPU-based calculations.
We presented two posters of our research, and Andrea’s won the second prize. Congratulations! We are so happy about it!
Following, some pictures of Andrea and Ewa but also of Eszter (a former member of the group now in University of Cambridge) and Jonas (a friend of the group from University of Göttingen)
